How to Book & Payments

Please email bookings@rooftenthire.uk to book your holiday.

We are currently accepting bookings for May 2026 onwards.

Full payment is required upon collection of the roof tent via debit/credit card. A receipt will be provided.
Roof Tent Collection & Return Location
-
Option 1: Collection from our storage location in Bedfordshire (address provided upon booking).

Option 2: A delivery & installation on your doorstep (more details to follow)

The same options are offered to return the roof tent.

Upon the return, we will perform an inspection of the roof tent to ensure there is no damage.
Roof Tent Installation

We will fully install the roof tent safely to your vehicle using our hoist system.

A safety demonstration will be performed at collection.

All required mounting fixtures are provided, along with spare screws and bolts.

Safety documents will be provided upon collection and a phone number to contact while you are away.

Before the installation is completed, you will be required to review and sign our waiver.
Vehicle Compatibility & Eligibility to Hire

Check your manufacturer's guide to ensure your vehicle and roof bars are compatible with the dynamic weight of the roof tent.

The roof tent fixtures are universal to all roof bars, allowing simple installation.

The minimum age to hire a roof tent is 21 years, and a valid UK drivers license and vehicle insurance is required.
Welcome Packs

When you collect your roof tent, we will also provide a welcome pack.

Safety documents

Set up instructions & useful information

Camping essentials

Holding Deposit
-
A fully refundable holding deposit of £100 will be taken upon collection of the roof tent.

The deposit will be returned in full once the roof tent has been returned and inspected, and there is no damage.
Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made up to 7 days in advance of the booking start date.

If you need to cancel, we will try to rearrange your booking.
Pets
-
We do allow pets in the roof tent for an additional £10 per night.

Upon collection, you will be required to sign an additional waiver stating that you are responsible for your pet, you will not leave it alone in the roof tent, and you accept there will be additional cleaning fees if the roof tent is not returned the same way as it was on collection.
